<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio apparatus capable of reducing thickness without substantially deteriorating antenna characteristics of an antenna built in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A cell-phone K comprises: a key sheet member 29 in which a plurality of key members 10-12 provided on one surface side of a sheet-like body 31 comprising insulating materials are arranged in a housing 2 so as to be exposed from an opening 2f of the housing 2, and a metal frame member 41 is provided between the key members 10-12 and the sheet-like body 31; a key switch 27 arranged facing the key members 10-12 on the other surface side of the sheet-like body 31; and an antenna 23 arranged in the housing 2 facing the key members 10-12 on the other surface side of the sheet-like body 31.
