<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content sharing system for exchanging the content having become a topic of conversation with the other party of calling on the spot. <P>SOLUTION: This digital content sharing system 10 is equipped with a content server 21B which shares with a content server 21A cooperating with a portable telephone 30A, and cooperates with a portable telephone 30B, wherein the content server 21B upon accepting a content request by using content reference information exchanged by the portable telephone 30B in communicating with the portable telephone 30A, shares content with the content server 21A by receiving the provision of corresponding content from the content server 21B based on the content request.
