PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation device capable of reducing the influence of high order intermodulation distortion with a simple device configuration, obtaining a sufficient distortion compensation amount, and facilitating control. SOLUTION: The distortion compensation device is provided with third order and fifth order distortion generators 18 of an analog circuit for generating third order distorted components and fifth order distorted components, a variable phase shifter 142 for controlling the phase of distortion generated in the distortion generator 18, and a variable attenuator 152 for controlling the amplitude of the distortion. The third order and the fifth order distortion generator 18 is provided with a distortion adjustment circuit for adjusting the phase and amplitude of the generated third order distorted component and fifth order distorted component so that the relation of the phase and the amplitude of the generated third order distorted component and fifth order distorted component is equal to the relation of the phase and the amplitude of the third order distorted component and the fifth order distorted component generated in an amplifier. In the variable phase shifter 142 and the variable attenuator 152, the phase or the amplitude of the third order distorted component and the fifth order distorted component can be adjusted altogether.
