PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient contents recording and accurate recording by down-load processing or the like for an information recording medium. SOLUTION: In constitution in which contents are output from a server and recorded in a medium, a media intrinsic data file is sectioned from a media common data file, and output to a recording device, further, auxiliary information such as contents recording allowable medium information indicating kinds of contents recording media and data size, and data arrangement information are provided. By this constitution, the server stores one set of common data depending on no medium, media intrinsic data can be made successively. Also, in a recording device side, a kind of medium is selected without errors, further, data recording based on accurate data arrangement based on data arrangement information can be achieved.
