PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dimension in the rotating shaft direction of an in-wheel motor. SOLUTION: The in-wheel motor is provided with an axial motor 2 in which a rotor 20 and a stator 21 fixed inside a bottomed cylindrical wheel 1 are arranged in the rotating shaft direction to oppose to each other and with a drum-type braking device 3 for braking the rotation of the wheel 1.
