PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve exhaust emission purification performance by efficiently using heat recovered from exhaust gas, in a cooling device for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An intake side water jacket 52 penetrating a peripheral part of an intake port 17, and an exhaust side water jacket 53 penetrating peripheral parts of an exhaust port and an exhaust collecting passage 32 are formed in a cylinder head 12. A water pump 67 can supply cooling water to a water jacket 51 and the intake side water jacket 52 through a first cooling water supply passage 68, and on the other hand, can supply the cooling water to the exhaust side water jacket 53 through a second cooling water passage 69. The cooling water of the exhaust water jacket 53 can be supplied to a cooling water passage of a turbocharger 35 through a third cooling water supply passage 70. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
