PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition for kitchens having excellent foam quality, quickly foaming and further imparting good bacterial-removing properties. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition for the kitchens comprises (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfuric ester salt of the following formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>O-(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O)n<SB>1</SB>-SO<SB>3</SB>M (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is an 8-18C alkyl group; n<SB>1</SB>represents the average molar addition number of ethylene oxides and is within the range of 1-6; M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, an alkanolamine or an ammonium), (B) 1-10 mass% of an alkanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof, (C) 1-10 mass% of an amine oxide type surfactant, (D) 1-10 mass% of an aromatic sulfonic acid or a salt thereof and (E) 0.01-2 mass% of a zinc compound.
