PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a continuously variable transmission capable of sufficiently supplying cooled oil to an oil requiring part. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device for the continuously variable transmission comprises the oil requiring part 82 of the continuously variable transmission, oil pumps 41, 42 including a plurality of discharge ports 48, 69 for supplying to the oil requiring part 82, a first oil passage 49 to which the oil discharged from the plurality of the discharge ports 48, 69 is supplied, a pressure control valve 54 for exhausting the oil in the first oil passage 49 to a second oil passage 57, and controlling a hydraulic pressure of the first oil passage 49, a third oil passage 78 provided in parallel to the first oil passage 49 to which the oil discharged from the discharge port 69 is supplied, a cooling device 79 for cooling the oil supplied to the third oil passage 78, and a fourth oil passage 83 for supplying the oil cooled by the cooling device 79 to the oil requiring part 82, and is further provided with a fifth oil passage 92 which joins the second oil passage 57 with the third oil passage 78.
