PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing reducing the possibility of damaging a seal thereof when removed. SOLUTION: The cylindrical roller bearing 11 comprises an outer ring 12 and an inner ring 13 as bearing rings, a cylindrical roller 14 as a rolling element for rolling on the raceway surfaces of the outer ring 12 and the inner ring 13, and seals 16a, 16b of approximately U-shaped cross section mounted on the outer ring 12 and protruded axially from the outer ring 12 and the inner ring 13. Herein, in an outer diameter face 19 of each of the seals 16a, 16b, a removing groove 20 is provided which is recessed to the side of the inner diameter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
