PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure by which a product shape is improved and the joining of engaged parts is strengthened when forming projecting and recessing shapes at one end and the other end of a planar body and forming the planar body into a cylindrical body by engaging the projecting and recessing shapes. SOLUTION: The cylindrical body made of a planar body is characterized in that in one end part of the body projecting parts having a root part and a head part which is wider than the root part and recessing parts having an inlet part provided adjacently to the projecting part and an inner part which is wider than the inlet part are formed, the recessing parts and the projecting parts which are engaged with the projecting parts and the recessing parts are formed on the other end and protruded parts are formed in a part or the whole part of the surface of the projecting part on the side of one end or/and the side of the other end, the projecting parts and the recessing parts on the sides of one end and the other end are engaged into a fitted shape by rolling the planar body round and the gap between the projecting parts and the recessing parts are filled up by squeezing the protruded parts.
