A method for manufacturing a cup used in a cross member for a vehicle is provided to reduce the number of processes by completing a product through a press process after forming a pipe using an original coil. An original coil(11) is supplied. The circular coil is slit with a predetermined interval in a state in which the circular coil is wounded. The circular coil is released and cut by a predetermined length. A flat plate obtained from the circulated coil is fabricated in the form of a pipe(10). The pipe is cut by a predetermined length. Upper and lower end parts of the pipe are foamed after the pipe is vertically positioned. The foamed pipe is subject to a trimming process to complete a cup. A protrusion(12) is formed at the predetermined position of the foamed pipe. |
