<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit which feeds power to an LED being an electric load, and can easily perform proper overvoltage protection processing adapted to the type of the load, and electronic equipment using the power supply circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply circuit which feeds power to the electric load comprises an overvoltage protection circuit which controls an output voltage outputted to the load so as not to exceed a prescribed overvoltage detection level, and an adjusting means which adjusts the overvoltage detection level.
