<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it is troublesome to have a photographer confirm whether or not the eyes of an object are open and perform photographing, accuracy often lacks, and it is difficult to confirm that. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus 200, an imaging part 20 picks up an image. A light emission part 30 emits light toward the object. A red-eye detection part 60 detects recursive light from the eyes of the object within the image picked up by the imaging part 20.
