<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide middleware for RFID tag readers/writers that facilitates connection of RFID tag readers/writers to desired applications to be enabled without customizing the applications. <P>SOLUTION: The middleware 1 is a program to cause a computer to function as a Web service means 11 for providing a common application program interface for each application program, a device management means 12 for holding information about readers/writers, a device connection means 13 for acquiring the information about the readers/writers, device-compatible set means 14-1 and 14-2 for generating an instance specific to each reader/writer according to a common reader/writer interface class, and reader/writer logic means 15-A to 15-C describing logic specific to each reader/writer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
