PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, and an apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same, enabling creation of a blur to obtain a good reproduced image, simplification of an optical system, cost reduction and acquisition of a good reproduced image of appropriate image quality with a small noise influence. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an optical system 110 and an imaging device 120, including an optical wavefront modulator for forming a primary image, and an image processing apparatus 140 for forming a high-precision final image from the primary image. Using an adjustment device, the mounting positions of the optical system 110 and the imaging device 120 are set so that a maximum number of pixels input by an output signal related to a rotationally asymmetric point image intensity distribution (PSF) are obtained at the center after passing through the above optical system.
