PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a class-D amplifier capable of suppressing heating even without disposing a component such as a heat sink. SOLUTION: When an amplification unit 13 is heated by amplifying a signal, heat generation sensors 15, 15 detect heat generation of the amplification unit 13. In accordance with results of detection due to the heat generation sensors 15, 15, a signal generation circuit 11b then changes a carrier frequency.
