PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device and a playlist linking method which is fully compatible with cases in which each reproduction of music is carried out by using an external removable memory. SOLUTION: In a link controller 14 of portable terminals 1A, 1B, music data corresponding to specific music item of playlist which shows the reproduction order of the music is retrieved in a memory 16 of the device body and the external removable memory 17, and the retrieved music data and the specific music item are linked.
