PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system improving its characteristic even when mounted at any position on a printed circuit board and to provide its mounting method. SOLUTION: The antenna system 10 is provided with a base body 11, first and second top face conductor portions 12 and 13 provided on the top face 11A of the base body 11, first and second side conductor portions 14 and 15, third and fourth side conductor portions 16 and 17, and a through hole conductor 18. The third side conductor portion 16 being a first feeding conductor is connected to one end of the first top face conductor portion 12, and the through hole conductor 18 being a second feeding conductor is directly connected to one end of the first top face conductor portion 12. The first side conductor portion 14 and the second side conductor portion 15 are connected by a connection conductor pattern 26. When feeding the power by the third side conductor portion 16, the antenna system 10 functions as a gap feeding type modified inverted-F antenna, and when feeding the power by the through hole conductor 18, the antenna system functions as a monopole antenna.
