PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belongings monitoring system reporting quickly and surely the loss of an article to an administration institution. SOLUTION: This belongings monitoring system of the present invention comprises: a monitor for detecting the loss of the article, based on a detection status of a radio tag attached to each article to be monitored, and a center device for receiving an identification code of the radio tag by which the loss is detected, from the monitor via a communication network. The center device is provided with a storage part for storing the identification code of the radio tag attached to the target article, and for storing loss notification information required for reporting the loss of the article to the administration institution for the specified article, in association with the identification code of the radio tag attached to the specified article out of the target articles, and a display control part for displaying the loss notification information corresponding to the specified article, on a display, when the identification code of the radio tag by which the loss is detected in the monitor indicates the specified article.
