PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device such that the contact of sheets on the edge of an anvil is suppressed by suppressing the catch of a staple to the edge of the anvil when a sheet bundle is transported to a broken roller after staple treatment. SOLUTION: This device comprises a catch suppressing mechanism 24 for pushing up a sheet bundle 30 in the direction of a stapler 21 so that a bent staple 31 is not caught to the edge 23 of the anvil. Therefore, the staple 31 is prevented from being caught by the edge 23 of the anvil when the sheet bundle 30 is transported after the staple treatment. Since the catch suppressing mechanism 24 so pushes up the sheet bundle 30 as not to be come into contact with the edge 23 of the anvil, the sheet can be prevented from being damaged by the edge 23 of the anvil.
