PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation controller and an oscillation controlling method for converging the oscillation continuing for a predetermined time after stopping drive by an oscillation generating part in a short time. SOLUTION: This oscillation controller 30a for controlling an oscillator 10 provided with an electromagnetic coil 15 for generating oscillation by utilizing alternate current is provided with an instruction input part 67 accepting driving instructions for starting the drive of the oscillator 10 or input of stop instructions for stopping the drive of the oscillator 10. This oscillation controller 30a is provided with a main circuit 43 for supplying the alternate current having the waveform set in advance to the electromagnetic coil 15 when the driving instructions are input from the instruction input part 67 to vibrate a bowl 11 of the oscillator 10 and supplying the alternate current having a phase different from that of the former alternate current to the electromagnetic coil 15 when the stop instructions are input from the instruction input part 67.
