PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a gap between an internal combustion engine and a hood in a vehicle provided with a vertically installed internal combustion engine, more particularly, a gap between a front end of the internal combustion engine and the hood. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine 7, a generator 8, an inverter unit 9 and a main battery 10 are disposed in a wheel base. The inverter unit 9 and the main battery 10 are disposed at mutually overlapped locations in side view. In an engine room 7, the vertically installed internal combustion engine 7 is mounted at a front inclined attitude so that the front end may be lower than the rear end.
