PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a mold for molding a honeycomb structure capable of reducing displacement between a slit groove and a feed hole. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the mold is for molding the honeycomb structure which has a material feed hole 12 and a slit groove 13 provided in the form of a grid communicating to the hole 12, and is used for extrusion-molding the material into a columnar honeycomb shape. A plurality of feed holes 12 having a depth not passing through a mold raw material 11 are formed at constant intervals from a hole machined surface side of the mold raw material 11 toward a slit machined surface side, and then hardening is performed. After hardening, a reference mark 10 to be a reference for matching the position of the feed hole 12 with the slit groove 13 formed in a post-process is formed. After that, a plurality of slit grooves 13 communicating to the feed hole are formed on a slit machined surface 111 side based on the position of the reference mark 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
