PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which achieves the stopping of a plurality of symbol lines on prescribed display lines without contacting players. SOLUTION: The game machine 1 includes a cabinet 3 for opening or closing a front door 2 and is also provided with a variable display device 5, a stop device 6 and a control means. The variable display device 5 variably displaying the plurality of symbol line while enabling the stopping of the symbol lines on the prescribed display lines 4a-4e. The stop device 6 stops the plurality of symbol lines being variably displayed on the display lines 4a-4e as operated by players. The control means controls the operation of the variable display device 5. The stop device 6 has infrared rays sensors 8L, 8C and 8R which are disposed on the front of the front door 2 and sense infrared rays radiated from the body temperature of a human body without contact. As the human body approaches them at a distance less than a prescribed value, the infrared rays sensors 8L, 8C and 8R transmit stop signals for stopping corresponding symbol lines to the control means.
