PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container which can prevent loss of a protection sheet and in which the protection sheet rarely disturbs in terms of operation or space when used with respect to the compact container provided with: a container main body for storing cosmetics; a lid body freely rotatably joined to the container main body; and the protection sheet which is interposed between the container main body and the lid body when the lid is closed to prevent the cosmetics from being stuck to the lid body. SOLUTION: The compact container 1 is provided with the container main body 2 for storing the cosmetics P, the lid body 3 freely rotatably joined to the container main body 2, and the protection sheet 4 which is interposed between the container main body 2 and the lid body 3 when the lid is closed to protect the cosmetics P from being stuck to the lid body 3. The lid body 3 is provided with a hook part 32 which is engaged with the container main body 2 when the lid is closed so as to maintain the lid closure state.
