PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trocar for gastrostomy tubes which enables the insertion of a bumper type gastrostomy tube 100 into a stoma port Pc by an introducer method during the gastrostomy. SOLUTION: The trocar 1 has an outer cylinder 2 and an inner cylinder 3 which has a guide part 31 with its tip reduced in diameter ahead and is removaly inserted into the outer cylinder 2 and when the inner cylinder 3 is inserted into the outer cylinder 2, the guide part 31 sticks out ahead of the outer cylinder 2. A tube insertion part 21 is so formed at the tail end of the outer cylinder 2 as to be extended in diameter toward its tail. Slits 22 are so formed at least at two peripheral locations of the outer cylinder 2 as to extend axially in the course of the tube insertion part 21 reaching the tip of the outer cylinder 2. Upon the insertion of the gastrostomy tube 100 into the outer cylinder 2 through the tube insertion part 21, the part of the outer cylinder 2 separable with the slits 22 can be pushed open.
