The buying inclination of users is enhanced by selecting a most suitable program video scene matching the advertisement distributed by the advertiser and distributing the scene with the advertisement. An advertisement distribution system, an advertisement distribution server, an advertisement distribution method, a program, and a recording medium are also disclosed. An advertisement video searching section (15) of a server (3) searches an advertisement video DB (9) by using an advertisement ID received from a first terminal (1), extracts the video ID corresponding to the advertisement ID, and outputs the video ID to a viewing history searching section (16). The viewing history searching section (16) searches a viewing history DB (5) reflecting the preferences of users to check if the video ID is stored. If the video ID is stored, the viewing history searching section (16) outputs the video ID to a content combining section (8). The content combining section (8) delivers advertisement data and video data to the first terminal (1).
