FIELD: security facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: when armoured helmet is manufactured from layered polymer composites, outer casing layers are put into matrix together with ballistic untreated fabric layers and internal casing layers. Ballistic layers are isolated with polyethylene film and each layer is preliminary cut out as follows: main - in the shape of chamomile, intermediate layers - in the shape of ring. Each main layer is distributed on working surface with overlaps on petal area, whereas intermediate layers cover the area of petal base in main layers. Layers are fastened together with edging represented as circular channel and clamping elements. Outer casing, all or part of ballistic layers, and, finally the whole package, are pressurised, covering matrix with plate and fill internal rubber chamber by pumping. ^ EFFECT: armoured helmet of high reliability and quality. ^ 11 cl, 11 dwg |
