A method and a system for p2p-based scalable real-time mobile group communication service management in wireless networks are provided to offer a group communication service management function to a user by configuring a user service group as a classified structure so that many lower level service groups can be created and controlled. A group service is created by registering a p2p based group communication service management structure and a service profile to a distribution group management table. The p2p based group communication service management structure is made up of a mobile terminal, a distribution group management table and a distribution group service management system. And the service profile defines p2p based mobile multimedia service that a service manager will provide to a group ID, a manager ID, a group level and a group. The service profile provided from a specified service group is registered as a group member through admission of a group service manager. A group member requires activation of group service to the group service manager. The group service manager sets up a group communication call to the group members through the distribution group service management system, and performs the p2p based group communication service. A multi party group communication service is supported without service disruption during movement by exchanging a changed IP address mutual to each terminal to configure a new connection in real time.
