An image forming apparatus is provided to prevent overheat of internal components due to heated printing paper by sufficiently cooling the paper before it enters a development unit and a transfer unit. An image forming apparatus includes a cooling unit(200) and a heat blocking member(300). The cooling unit inhales air to a discharge portion to which printed papers are discharged to cool papers passing through a double sided printing path. The heat blocking member blocks heat discharged from a mounting unit and prevent the mounting unit from cooling the air inhaled to the discharge portion. The cooling unit includes a duct(201) and a cooling fan(202). The duck defines an air passage together with the heat blocking member, and the cooling fan discharges air inhaled through the duck to an outside of the image forming apparatus.
