A spreader assembly (3), for a vehicle for spreading anti-icing and/or abrasive bulk material, defines a cavity (21) for receiving the bulk material, and has a rotary disk (8) rotating about an axis (A) and supporting a number of blades (25) for spreading the bulk material from the cavity (21), and expulsion means (24) for directing the bulk material from the cavity (21) to the number of blades (25). The spreader assembly (3) also has feed means (26) for supplying a liquid, and which have an outlet (29) so located as to moisten the bulk material with the liquid as the bulk material leaves the cavity (21) along a clear path produced by the action of the expulsion means (24). |
