A structure of a reinforcing support of a wall body of a large size water tank and a reinforcing method for the same are provided to maintain the original strength of an H-shaped beam panel. A wall reinforcing support of a water tank includes plural vertical reinforcing supports(13), plural horizontal reinforcing supports(12), a support member(15) and a horizontal reinforcing support. The plural horizontal reinforcing supports that are formed on the vertical reinforcing support and a support protrusion formed on a predetermined position of the vertical support are integrated with the vertical reinforcing support by welding. The support member is inserted and fixed between the vertical reinforcing supports. An insertion recess(19) is formed on the horizontal reinforcing support.
