METHOD FOR OPERATING VEHICLE INSPECTION

A method for operating vehicle inspection is provided to exempt a vehicle from the periodic or precise vehicle inspection, and make a driver receive the periodic or precise inspection when the performance of the vehicle is remarkably reduced by monitoring and managing performance of the vehicle remotely through an exhaust reduction device and an LBS(Location-Based Service) terminal. A server stores information for vehicles to be inspected in a storage medium(y20), and the server checks vehicle information by linking with the storage medium. The server calculates a location of the vehicle by using signal data received from a terminal embedded in the vehicle in response to a signal transmitted from a plurality of MBSs(Mobile Base Station). The server transmits calculated location information of the vehicle to a networked server or terminal.
