<p>Flat pallet of light construction consists of two connected shells, the hollow space between these shells being filled with foamed plastic of low density The foamed plastic intermediate layer is pref. reinforced by one or more rigid elements, which are surrounded by the foamed plastic. The intermediate layer pref. consists of one body of foamed plastic material, the shells being formed by the sealed outer skin of the foamed body. The flat pallet has a light construction, and is easily handled. The pallet is sufficiently strong to enable goods to be transported, especially in aircraft.
