a base assembly (10);
a saw assembly (20) pivotally attached to the base assembly for movement between an upper position and a lower position, the saw assembly including a motor (24), a blade (23) driven by the motor, an upper blade guard (27) covering an upper part of the blade, a lower guard (25) covering a lower part of the blade and pivotally attached to the upper blade guard, wherein the lower blade guard has at least two teeth (25T) that can receive a workpiece therethrough.
