METHOD FOR INDICATING THE COMBINATION OF CODEWARD AND STREAM IN THE MIMO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for indicating a combination of a codeword and a stream in the MIMO communication system is provided to decrease the number of information bits for indicating the combination by suppressing the number of the combinations rationally. Plural code words are created. Each of code words corresponds to a transmission stream again through a code word-stream mapping module. And each stream is transmitted passing a transmission antenna through a stream-antenna mapping module. Rationally, a relation between the code word and the stream is able to be set freely, so that one code word is able to be sent by being divided into multiple streams, or several code words are able to be sent by being coupled into one stream.
