<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the support structure of a drum, which supports the drum upright in a stable manner without being affected by a deformed state of the bottom plate of the drum in both cases where the drum is placed flat and stacked in tiers. <P>SOLUTION: On a connecting part 13 between the bottom plate 11 and the outer periphery side plate 12 of the drum, a circular grip 14, whose base end is the connecting part 13, is formed to project downward below the bottom plate 11. An outer periphery flange 15 is formed projectingly on the outer peripheral surface of the grip 14, the flange 15 having an almost level bearing surface 15a that can be set opposite to the upper end 12a of the outer periphery side plate of a lower drum located under the above drum when the drums are stacked in tier. On the front end (lower end) of the grip 14, a projection or circular projection 16 is formed to project downward below the bearing surface 15a of the outer periphery flange 15.
