<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately reproduce TIBIA Percus based timbre with a digital source. <P>SOLUTION: In a first key-on time, channels having the same number of sounds being simultaneously generated is secured in an assignment memory 61 and a common envelope is raised. One channel among the assigned channels is set to be able to generate sound and the other channels are set in their sounding preparation states. In the sounding preparation, an F number or the volume is set to zero. In a second key-on time, one of the sounding systems being in the sounding preparation states is switched to a sounding possible state. Sounding possible state is set by returning the F number or the volume to a normal value corresponding to a present envelope. When sounding by the first key-on is stopped by a key-off, the sounding by the key-on after the second key-on is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
