<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for thermal fixing to develop an electrostatic charge image such as an electrophotographic image, a method for manufacturing the toner, a two-component developer by combining the toner and a silicon- coated carrier, and a fixing device having no cleaning mechanism to clean the surface of a heat roller. SOLUTION: In the toner for thermal fixing prepared by externally adding an external additive to color particles containing a binder resin, coloring agent and wax, the DSC measurement of the toner shows one or more endothermic peaks of the wax in the region from 60 to 105 deg.C and one or more in the region from 120 to 160 deg.C. The content of the low melting point wax in the toner is 4 to 13 parts by mass and the content of the high melting point wax is 1 to 6 parts by mass. The surface coating rate of the surface of the color particles by the external additive is 45 to 150%.</p> |
