<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which the adjustment of respectively suitable color balances can be easily performed according to the movement of the image, while the degradation in light emitting element characteristics and electric power consumption are suppressed, as much as possible, using a small-scale circuit, and to provide the color balance adjustment method. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device comprises: a circuit 2 which generates drive signals SHR, SHG, SHB by an inputted image signal SIN; a plurality of pixels (cell arrays 1) that include the light-emitting elements emitting lights in which the prescribed color of red (R), green (G), or blue (B) emits light, by impressing the driving signals supplied from the circuit 2 for each color; an adjustment information acquisition means 4, which acquires the information on the light emission adjustment of the light-emitting elements; and a level adjustment means 2B which causes the level of the RGB signal, prior to being divided into the driving signals SHR, SHG, SHB of each of the colors of RGB to change, based on the information obtained from the adjustment information acquisition means 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
