<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating device capable of keeping the output of a generator high regardless of any steam pressure difference between primary side and secondary side. <P>SOLUTION: The power generating device is provided with: a positive displacement steam expander 8 that converts the expansion of steam into torque; a generator 9 connected to the rotating shaft of the positive displacement steam expander 8; an inverter 13 for setting the operating frequency of the generator 9; a power detector 17 for detecting the generated output of the generator 9; and a controlling means 18 for varying the set frequency of the inverter 13 according to the difference between the generated output detected by the power detector 17 and a target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
