<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid polyurethane laminate which is gentle to the body when used as pumice by adopting a joining means not using an adhesive when two pieces of rigid polyurethane foam are joined together, is excellent in joining force between the pieces of rigid polyurethane foam, and can be used as a lightweight sound insulating material, a lightweight heat insulating material, a buoyant material, etc., besides pumice. <P>SOLUTION: The bottom and both sides of an injection space S between the first rigid polyurethane foam piece 2 and the second rigid polyurethane foam piece 3 which are arranged to face each other are blocked up to seal them by a bottom frame formboard 7 and a pair of side frame formboards 8 and 9. The inside surfaces of the first and second polyurethane foam pieces 2 and 3 are dried, and a liquid rigid polyurethane 10 is injected into the space S. A weight lid 11 is mounted on the liquid polyurethane 10, and the polyurethane 10 is expanded while the start-up speed of its foaming is controlled to mold a rigid polyurethane foam layer 4 integrally between the first and second polyurethan foam pieces 2 and 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
