<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance optical printer head which forms a good image with little distortion by correctly irradiating a photoreceptor with light from a light emitting element, and contributes to the downsizing of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The optical printer head is formed of a head substrate 1, a housing 5, and a base plate 7. The head substrate 1 has a plurality of light emitting element array chips 2 mounted thereon in a row. The housing 5 is arranged over the head substrate 1, and to which a rod lens array 4 is attached. The base late 7 is arranged below the head subsrate 1. These head substrate 1, the housing 5, and the base plate 7 are held by a plurality of clips 10 in one body. Each clip 10 consists of a bottom surface and a pair of side surfaces, and has an almost U-shaped cross section, wherein a center area of each side surface is protruded outward relative to both end areas of each side surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
