<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic scanning type radar apparatus allowing interference suppression. <P>SOLUTION: Received data consisting of N sampled sampling data is cut out into (N-M+1) data consisting of M (<N) sampling data continuing in the time direction. The frequency spectrum of the (N-M+1) data is calculated, the interfering component frequency of an interfering wave is detected from the calculated frequency spectrum.
