PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid-sealed damping device by which high damping can be caused without depending upon damping of a rubber elastic body, and enhanced damping effect based on such high damping is stably exerted on vibrations in a wide-frequency range. SOLUTION: By using a flexible film 16, an airtight fluid chamber 14 wherein incompressible fluid is sealed is formed on the side opposite to a to-be-damped object 18 in a mass member 12. The flexible film 16 is mounted in contact with the to-be-damped object 18. In the case of input of vibration, the mass member 12 is allowed to cause displacements based on the deformations of the flexible film 16. Thus, fluid-flow is caused a direction orthogonal to the reverse direction of the mass member 12 and the damping object 18 in the airtight fluid chamber 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
