PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operating efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost by forming a second cooling water passage out of an attachment surface and a first member to simplify a cooling water passage structure when a cylinder head is manufactured with dies. SOLUTION: The cylinder head for a water cooled internal combustion engine provided with the attachment surface 10 on which a first member (exhaust manifold 9) is attached and manufactured by die drawing with using only an outer die, is provided with a first cooling water passage 11 extending in a crankshaft axial direction, a second cooling water passage 12 positioned in an exhaust port side of the first cooling water passage and extending in a crankshaft axial direction in parallel with the first cooling water passage, and a plurality of third cooling water passages 13 connecting the first cooling water passage and the second cooling water passage. In the second cooling water passage, a hollow part provided on at least one of the first member and the attachment surface is formed by watertightly attaching the first member on the attachment surface.
