PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a video recording reservation of contents to "iteratively record broadcast contents broadcast from the determined broadcast station in a determined time zone on a determined day of a week, every week". SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises a setting means and a tuner. The setting means is configured to set a video recording reservation with contents that program contents specified by first information indicative of a predetermined station which provides a program, second information indicative of a predetermined day of a week and third information indicative of a predetermined time zone are received every week and the received program contents are recorded as data on a predetermined recording medium. The tuner is configured to receive the program contents of a first station specified by the first information. The tuner is paired with a channel allocated to the first station, preferentially receives the program contents transmitted by the channel and receives program contents of a second station during a period of time in which the video recording reservation for the first station is not set by the setting means, and when carrying out a video recording reservation set for the second station different from the first station.
