FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of producing fuel-air mix for internal combustion engines incorporates injecting liquid fuel into air at intake, splitting the said fuel into preset size, mixing the fuel drops with air flow at intake, drawing the air flow containing the fuel drops into the combustion chamber to be fired therein and a stage of drawing transporting gas differing from the intake air flow containing fuel drops at intake via a constrained pipe containing a set of plates and creating turbulence. Splitting the liquid fuel is effected by means of the said turbulence. Here note that the amount of fuel added to air at intake is adjusted. The device receiving the dispersed fuel from the internal combustion engine fuel jet and decreasing the dispersed fuel particle size to that of fuel drops, i.e. to 50 micron in diameter incorporates a constrained pipe the first end of which receives the said fuel jet nozzle, while its other end draws the said fuel drops into air flow the engine intake, a source to carry gas to the said first end face of the said pipe, a set of round plates creating turbulence and mounted in the said constrained pipe spaced apart. ^ EFFECT: producing fuel-air mix for internal combustion engine allowing reducing the requirements to the engine octane rating. ^ 21 cl, 10 dwg |
