<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that communication for checking normal processing completion should be performed. <P>SOLUTION: A printing data transmission part CP6 transmits print data PD to a printer 30. A communication urging part CP7 displays a screen for urging communication with the printer 30 (a communication urging screen) on a liquid crystal display 55. While displaying the communication urging screen, an infrared communication part CP3 searches external equipment by infrared rays.
