PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor-type air conditioner capable of reducing noise caused by leakage of operation sound of an air blower. SOLUTION: This floor type air conditioner 1 comprises a casing 10, a supply opening 21, a suction opening 20, the air blower 41 and an indoor heat exchanger 40. The casing 10 has a front panel 11. The supply opening 21 is an opening portion formed on the casing 10. The suction opening 20 is an opening portion formed on a back face of the casing 10. The air blower 41 generates air current entering into the case 10 through the suction opening 20 and released from the casing 10 through the supply opening 21. The indoor heat exchanger 40 is positioned on the way of a flow channel of the air current in the casing 10 on an upstream side of the air current with respect to the air blower 41.
